Apocalyptica is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Helsinki, formed in 1993. The group is known for using cellos as the central instrument in heavy metal and for originally gaining attention with Metallica covers.
Their music combines symphonic metal, neoclassical metal, alternative metal, and heavy metal. As a group profile, individual physical fields are not applicable.
